The Golden Hour Delivery Room Management protocol focuses on infants with a gestational age of less than 29 weeks or a birth weight of less than 1000 grams. By applying a new protocol for non-invasive ventilation, the number of mechanically ventilated babies decreased with a consequent reduction in the mortality rate in line with international figures.
