Embedded Sustainability in Value Improvement Work



Heart Hospital’s Office for Performance Improvement has continued to work with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to develop a new approach to quality improvement, known as “Value Improvement". This approach uses improvement science and three new concepts, a “box score" of measures, a “visual management board", and weekly staff huddles to drive very rapid cycle improvement.

Rapid Response Team: Early Detection and Management

After the successful execution of Qatar Early Warning System (QEWS) in HMC facilities, Al Wakra Hospital Critical Care Unit (CCU) started to respond for the adult Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls.
