Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has been developing existing services and opening new facilities to ensure we provide the safest, most effective and most compassionate care to each and every one of our patients.
This includes one of the biggest healthcare facilities expansion in the region - the opening of four new Medical City hospitals. The Communicable Disease Center, Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI), the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), and the Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) deliver a number of inpatient and outpatient services, with thousands benefitting from the care provided.
HMC has also opened a new hospital in the Industrial Area of Doha - Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital - dedicated to delivering care to male patients from the surrounding community.
HMC has also opened other specialist clinics and facilities for patients with long terms conditions, such as the National Obesity Treatment Center which operates under the Qatar Metabolic Institute and the Breast Care Clinic opened at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR).
