The first masterclass in breast cancer management to be held in Doha emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. It is expected to attract around 300 participants including medical oncologists, pathologists, gynecologists, surgeons, doctors and physicians from PHCC and the private sector to meet and network.

This masterclass activity which has earned a total of 10 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours - categories 1, accredited from Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) will focus on comprehensive, evidenced-based clinical practices related to breast cancer care within a multidisciplinary setting. It will discuss the importance of analyzing and debating available facts to provide the most up to date knowledge in the management of breast cancer. It will also develop recommendations with the ultimate goal of improving standards of care, increasing survival rates, and enhancing patients’ quality of life.
