International Medical Affairs Office
The purpose of the International Medical Affairs Office (IMAO) is to achieve consistent and exceptional standards of healthcare for patients who travel abroad for treatment. The IMAO focuses on clinical quality and ensures a seamless experience for patients from referral through to return home and follow up by HMC physicians.
During the first year, the IMAO has been able to identify gaps which it can target for service improvement in Qatar and in doing so will reduce the demand for overseas treatment.
