HMC offers medical students coming from local and overseas medical colleges the opportunity to participate in a short-term observership or clinical attachment within several clinical departments at HMC. The Medical Education Department is not however responsible for issuing a visit visa to students applying from overseas and does not offer any financial support to the candidates accepted to take part in a clinical attachment at HMC. Candidates are also expected to cover their own living expenses and accommodation in Doha.
Priority is given to medical students with a valid residence permit for Qatar.
Physicians who are applying for a medical license to work in the private sector are not eligible to take part in a clinical attachment at HMC.
