Even though we will continue to care for a large number of maternity patients, the care we provide goes far beyond reproduction and childbirth. We recognize that throughout your life, you may experience a complex range of health issues that require ongoing support, care, education and management. For this reason, we have designed our facility not just around maternity care, but around specialized clinics and surgical procedures so that we can address a variety of gynecological health issues.
At the WWRC, we have a number of gynecology clinics in our Outpatient Department to manage various female health issues and conduct minor procedures. Should the need arise, we also offer dedicated operating theatres to perform elective gynecology surgeries. These are fully equipped to perform major surgery as well as endoscopic, laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgery.
